Dr. Afkhami-Ardekani’s academic journey commenced at the School of Medical Science, University of Isfahan, where he earned his degree as a General Physician in May 1990. He successfully completed his Internal Medicine residency at the School of Medical Science, Isfahan University, in June 1993, becoming a certified specialist in Internal Medicine.

Dr. Afkhami-Ardekani pursued a Subspecialty in Endocrinology and Metabolism at the School of Medical Science, Tehran University, earning his certification in January 1997. Throughout his illustrious career, Dr. Afkhami-Ardekani has held numerous prestigious positions and made significant contributions to the medical community. Since 1993, he has been a dedicated member of the Faculty of Medicine, where he has served as an Assistant Professor, imparting his knowledge to countless aspiring medical professionals.

From 1997 to 1999, Dr. Afkhami-Ardekani took on the role of Dean at the School of Medicine, Shahid Sadoughi University of Medical Science, showcasing his leadership abilities and commitment to academic excellence.
